I think Google Presentations would be a wonderful thing to use in the classroom. This could be used for all different subjects learned in school. Specifically it could be used for making presentations in groups possibly on a social studies topic. Students could use assigned computer lab time to work on computers and collaboratively edit their presentation and in doing so all students would be able to participate instead of one student on the computer while others watched and gave input or got off topic. Doing presentations in this way could allow for the teacher to visually see what students were contributing to the presentation by having each student in the group write in a different color their edits and additions to the presentation. Google Presentations could also be used in the classroom if students are working collaboratively as a whole class in a big project in which all students are contributing. This would be an easy and efficient way for all students to work on the same task at hand without wasting time, students getting confused or off topic. This is a great way for information to be shared and edited. Using Google Presentations students are able to practice editing their peers which is an important tool to work on regarding any subject. Overall I believe Google Presentations would be an incredibly valuable tool to use in the classroom.
